The Foundation for Delaware County is a community foundation founded in 2016 with a mission to create a vibrant future for Delaware County by promoting generosity in and for the people of our county, improving the well-being of our residents, and energizing participation and partnership across our communities. As a 501(c)(3) organization, we rely on donations to help us address opportunities and important issues across Delaware County. With your help, we will continue to support the nonprofit community, manage our high quality maternal health programs, and convene and collaborate with partners who align with our mission.

Donate | Circle of Giving 2020 Circle of Giving 2020 was established in March 2020 when it became clear that the COVID-19 pandemic would severely impact local families. Since that time, more than $55,000 has been raised. Donations to Circle of Giving help to provide groceries, gift cards, meals and school supplies to Delaware County families. |

Over the last 45 years, SCS has developed an extensive portfolio that includes four nationally-accredited senior centers, the county’s oldest and largest home-delivered meal program for frail elders, and a Cognitive Stimulation program that improves brain health. |

Funding can help families with unforeseen emergency needs such as repairing/replacing a broken refrigerator, buying cribs, beds or other essentials, paying for a car seat to transport their child home from the hospital after giving birth, an emergency heating repair or heating oil order, purchasing diapers, baby formula, covering health insurance or prescription copays and much more. |
